It occurred to me recently that I never used to drink after work in a normal week - in fact, unless something was on I probably didn't drink at all in a normal week. These days I find myself buying a box of beer each week - usually drinking between zero and two drinks a night after work, 3 - 5 on a Friday and a few more over the weekend.
I'm curious what other people's alcohol habits are in a normal week (e.g. excluding parties/special events).
Oh so you mean a work week, not a calendar week, right?
No I mean a calendar week - any particular 7 days. But a usual week, e.g. Friday drinks included, house warming party not.
I would say I drink about 5 beers during the week (Mon - Thurs) and another 5 - 10 from Friday to Saturday typically.
I really wanted to put 15> but I almost never have beers during the week
I generally don't drink at all unless I have something on, although I have started going out with workmates semi-frequently. I'll probably drink ~3 beers in a week if have nothing on, up to 20 if I'm going hard.
so do you take the average then? and say like 6 beers a week?
No I'm looking for typical rather than average. E.g. how much you would drink in a week aside from special events or parties or anything.
0- mon-fri.
7-10 weekend.
