Zeeeeeeeeeow!! yesterday i was playing in a poker freeroll (for those of you not in the know, thats a free to enter tournament that if you place in the top 10 in this case, you win real money) and after 2hr42mins of playing, i took it out!! yesssssssss, so that means i won a whopping $15 US, which works out at just over $5/hour haha. so now i have $41 on my account after depositing a grand total of $0. time to build a fortune playing poker methinks

How long has it taken you to get to $41?, in the March/April Bluff Magazine theres an article about Chris "Jesus" Ferguson(Poker Pro)whos trying to make $10,000 outta $0 and so far hes got $225.96 and its taken him nine months.
ahhhh, i started at about the start of the year, but i didnt have the internet for a while, so maybe 2 months or so playing time. i have done a lot of reading and so on about strategy, and i also found this article on bonus whoring which is basically going around depositing on poker sites, receiving their bonuses and once you have played out their requirements of so many raked hands (they are obviously not gonna let you withdraw the money straight away) then take the money out and go deposit it on another site and get their bonus etc etc. i dont have enough to do this yet, and i havent played any real money tournaments or games recently, but once im up to about $200 then it should be easy to get the bonuses and blaze away up to maybe $500 or $1000 even assuming i play well and get the most out of my bonuses.
have set up an account at moneybookers so i can do all the transferring and shit, so i just need to get my a into g and start playing on those real money tables and not the silly play money ones lol :cheers:
I came 5th today in a tourny out of 476 players, best position yet.
Wasnt a money game tho, so no cash.
I might start a new user and get the free entry free roll tournys, I only noticed them today!

Hamish I started a $50 Free roll Tourny of 7card Stud, first time I've ever played it.
Out of 1150 players I was coming 150th out of 600 remaining and my internet cutoff(was at $2200ish)
....logged back on 45mins later and was coming 195th out of 200ish with $415. Won the next two hands folded two and then won the next two to be sitting at $21000.
Awesome!!!
Ended up about 80th. Still not bad for the first time and a great story.
